For the second year in a row, Uzbekistan National Film Commission is opening the stand as part of the European Film Market in Berlinale Film Festival. The stand set in order to promote domestic film locations and cinema tourism.
Berlin Film Festival, also known as Berlinale, is one of the most significant and prestigious film festivals in the world.
For Uzbekistan, this film market is important in that a huge number of filmmakers from around the world are gathering here, and it is possible to demonstrate to them the country’s potential for the production of audiovisual projects.
Representatives of the Uzbekistan National Film Commission will familiarize to the guests of the pavilion with the unique film locations of Uzbekistan, as well as with the “rebate” system. Also within the framework of the European Film Market had planned the meetings with more than 40 foreign film companies and international media organizations.
The National pavilion organized as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the further development of the tourism sector with the support of the State Committee for Tourism Development, the Youth Union and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Germany.
